Presentation - Baciului Gorge Baciu

Baciului Gorge is spread over an area of 3 ha in the Northern part of Hoia Forest, nearby Cluj-Napoca municipality and represents a protected area of national interest.

The gorge is about 500 m long and has a geological importance (calcareous sheers, rocks), paleontological (fossiliferous deposits), floral (forests, grasslands vegetation and rocks) and landscaping. A small natural lake, not too deep, lies upstream of Baciului Grodge, at the forest edge.
