In Campenesti village, the town hall of Apahida commune manages one of the recreational fishing areas at about 25 km away from Cluj- Napoca. On a total area of 126 ha we encounter a water surface of 110 ha. The accumulation ponds of 1 800 000 m3 serves 6 lakes, 4 storage pools and 4 pools for breeding. The lakes are populated with fish species: carp, crucian, zander. Fishing is done by paying a fee, the amount and fishing rules being set by the managers of the lake.
