Presentation - Molnár-Magyaróssy Mansion Cernat

It was built by the Szekler border guards in the first decade of the 1800s, for the cavalrymen stationed in Csernáton (Cernat). The extensive estate is called even today „egzertzir platz”, meaning parade ground. The hussars exercised in this garden. Two barns and two large stables are standing on the grounds, with space for 50 horses. The mansion was built of stone and brick in classic style and covered with tiles, having two chimneys. The main entrance was planned on the northwest side of the building. The monumental stone gate of the mansion is still standing.
