"sfantul Nicolae" Gherla (Saint Nicholas) Orthodox Church Gherla

During the interwar period, the Romanian Orthodox Parish buys the buildings located on Bobalna Street, no. 1. In the park there was a cinema that was radically transformed and became St. Nicholas church in the park. The bombings during the Second World War damages seriously the church, is renovated several times, and from 1987 to 1993, on the site of the former church, was built the present church dedicated to St. Nicholas. The painting is carried out between the years 1933-1955 in tempera technique.
