The healing effects of the mineral waters in Băile Szejke were already well-known in the 18th century. Balázs Orbán established a flourishing spa resort on his property in Băile Szejke and he even organized the delivery of mineral water to the town in ceramic jugs on buffalo carts. In 2008, the biggest permanent exhibition on mineral water and spas in Szeklerland was opened to the public. The museum displays a collection of water jugs, the formation process of the mineral water, and the famous buffalo cart. At the end of the tour, visitors can taste the sulphurous waters of the Sarolta spring.
