Presentation - Stone "kalibás" Vlahita

Shack-rock it is a place situated very close to Hargita turf bog. This is where Tolvajos stream appears intensively abrading the rocks on the external part of its bends. The volcanic rocks are not very strong, so they can stand against the abrading process only for a while but then they just collapse under their own weight. This is what happened to the rock at the side of Tolvajos stream: it collapsed in the water, leaving behind a hole in a shack shape. According to the tradition this is where the place got its name from: Shack rock.
